Hope all is well and I hope plenty of fish are being shot!
I have been MIA recently, a lot happening with buying the Dolphins future Christmas Party house and also work has had me quite occupied. Apologies to all. Also a big thanks to the guys who have helped run the show while i have been busy! Especially to our VP Parry! Top job mate!
TUNA TALK BY IAN PUCKERIDGE:
Also on the night Ian Puckeridge has put his hand up to conduct a talk on hunting Tuna during the winter. Ian and many other divers had some great results last season on the bluefin that come to our coast. This would be a great opportunity to learn about these great fish.
Even if you do not have a boat you should be there taking in the free info because when the tuna are on there are plenty of Charter operators that will take out spearos!
The info that is going to be shared on the night is going to be priceless! So bring your pens and papers, bring your questions and get ready to shoot yourself a fish of a life time with winter!
I’m really looking forward to it!
Firstly i would like to congratulate our very own Ian Puckeridge on his win last weekend down in Eden! A top effort in what I heard was very dirty water. Some reports were saying that divers were bumping their heads on the bottom before seeing it!
Also a big well done to Aaron Puckeridge who came 4th overall! What an effort. Aaron was one fish away (he lost a salmon) from taking out the comp.
Unlucky mate, at 15 you still have plenty of years ahead of you to make your Dad the bridesmaid.
This Tuesday (19th June) we have our monthly meeting. I have spoken to a heap of guys that are going to be there and looking forward to catching up so we should have a good turn out.
Also, i have had a heap of guys asking me for the shirts that we made up for the Inter Pacific Championships in Hawaii that was in March. I have a few left over and i will be getting rid of them on the night for a very cheap price.
We will have a good raffle on the night also, so be ready to win some gear!
CHRISTMAS IN JULY:
Just around the corner, we will discuss this on the night but just to give you a heads up we are looking at holding the night at our Club Chefs Restaurant in Bankstown. I have eaten here 3 times and i have to tell you, the food in FANTASTIC! You will go home very full and satisfied. I would recommend to skip lunch on that day though as the food just keeps on coming! Another great night ahead!
